The week of pizza

Ok so on Monday Murray, brad and I had orientation interviews which we all totally annihilated. I got the acceptance email today, but I also got a second email that says that Bonnie and Liesl want to talk to me "in person" ........ IM INNOCENT I TELLS YA! im sure its no biggy.
So as promised the week pizza. Well unless you were at sfu surrey this past week then you missed the free food and more importantly the free pizza. hmmm, lets run down the list shall we. Monday Greg scored us free pizza from Joel Flynns thesis defense party. Tuesday my 209 class had a party for Joel also so more pizza was enjoyed. Wednesday (eventhough this time I paid for the pizza) the six ninjahs basketball team ate at Boston pizza. Thursday we answered a few questions about our first year and got pizza for it. And then yesterday Q almost had the hook up for more pizza but he couldn't get to school on time (the effort was much appreciated). Lets just say im not going to be eating pizza for a while.

You've been thunderstruck

what a weekend. From administering first aid to a guy that got attacked at lougheed station by someone with a knife, to amazing sushi to a four hour concert. What will happen next? So Saturday started off with me taking the skytrain home all by myself cause rob needed to buy a ticket, then I get to lougheed and hop on the bus. After three stops some guy gets on with a bloody hand and says he was attacked. I gave him some sanitizer and told him to apply pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding. Then Saturday I get to sushi and everyone is like oh thank god you weren't stabbed. After sushi we went to school and watched tenacious D. Then took the skytrain to waterfront. We didn't get off at waterfront we just stayed on the train and waited for it to turn around. Rob and Greg both thought we were gonna get stuck there. Then we wondered around Granville waiting for George. At 8 we went to the commodore.the show started at 9, Highway star (deep purple tribute) opened then thunderstruck came on. For the first few songs they blew chunks but then I guessed they fixed the sound equipment and then all was right with the world. We had to leave early cause brad didn't want a parking ticket. But then we took the night bus to lougheed from Vancouver. That was interesting. All in all the day/night and staying up for 22 hours straight rocked.

Who sleeps outside in this weather?

Ok this past Saturday was one of the best Saturdays I've had in a while (probably nothing compared to this coming Saturday but I will continue on with my story), it all started off when I had to go to work (ya I know work but just let me finish) so I get to work I find out I don't have to cook for 90 people, which is a relief, and then the actual supper that was cooked was amazingly good. So then the there was camp fire which was nothing special cause the kids were in charge of performing the songs and one group "covered" an air supply song (you heard me right AIR SUPPLY!) then came the night hike! Which involved walking down an old dirt road, dodging pot holes the size of miniature swimming pools and walking down a single file trail that is littered with fallen trees and branches and bushes in the way. Then I got to sleep outside on two foams with a sleeping bag in freezing weather. OH RIGHT!

"Wow I haven't seen your forehead in ages"

So today was interesting. Well then again when Z! Is around anything is bound to happen. For example finding two wicked t-shirts at some store and purchasing them for both for less than $25. woot. Then there was the appearance made by the one with hair that looks like something crawled in there and died. Then the oddest thing would have to be that it was snowing powder on top of the hill and go down to production way and nothing, notta, not a single drop of snow or rain. wtf mate. Then I ran into a friend for Camp who could not help himself but be drawn in by Z!s superb collection of pins. Then I found out that I had a love child with a Stegosaurus. That was neat. Then to top everything off I forgot my water bottle at the old spaghetti factory so I ran back to get it and it was still there but the great part is that it is a 600ml pop bottle that can be purchased anywhere! But it does hold a special place in my heart since the previous bottle passed away due to loss of blood caused from a high speed collision.

Crossroads of Caffeine

With out further a do, I present to you the consumer whore: ME! Yup I have officially been labeled a consumer whore by none other than Z! The reason for this being.........I had a bag a Lays chips in my bag from a wicked party the night before. And what a crazy party it was, Geoff was there, Greg and I showed up, and the three janitors were there. So we said farewell to one of the janitors and enjoyed some wicked food. So after the wicked party I was offered the Lays and I didn't say no. So then I broke them out during Z!'s chem class. And the rest is history.

then the day ensued with many random events including goin for donairs and getting free pop, goin to an English lecture where they are reading a book I read in high school then taking the skytrain to renfrew and then getting on the 16 bus and going to a collectors shop and getting pushed to buy something by this weird brown guy (im sure Z! Can elaborate on this) and then ending up at the Crossroads of Caffeine.
